Separation:
•Separation by Space means that there are barriers or defined walkways to separate forklifts from people.
•Separation by Time means that areas are defined where forklifts and pedestrians can both go but at different times.
•Separation by Procedure only, means guidance is given to control the interactions by use of written
procedures and risk assessment.
