吉林森林工業(yè)股份有限公司創(chuàng)立于1998年9月。是以森林培育和林木采伐為基礎(chǔ)、以林產(chǎn)加工為主導(dǎo)、以科技開發(fā)為動力，林工貿(mào)結(jié)合，產(chǎn)加銷一體的 現(xiàn)代化大型森工企業(yè)。主營業(yè)務(wù)為森林采伐、木材、人造板、林化產(chǎn)品加工和銷售、進(jìn)出口貿(mào)易等。公司成立以來，一些主要經(jīng)濟(jì)指標(biāo)在全國同行業(yè)中處于領(lǐng)先水平。2002年被吉林省企業(yè)聯(lián)合會、吉林省企業(yè)家協(xié)會評為“吉林省優(yōu)秀企業(yè)”。2003年被國家人事部、國家林業(yè)部評為“全國林業(yè)系統(tǒng)先進(jìn)企業(yè)”。
    公司最具有特色的是綠色人造板系列產(chǎn)品。“露水河牌”刨花板產(chǎn)品以其綠色環(huán)保、規(guī)模大、品質(zhì)好、技術(shù)裝備先進(jìn)、自主創(chuàng)新能力強(qiáng)等特點著稱于市場，連續(xù)多年被評為省優(yōu)、部優(yōu)產(chǎn)品，2005年獲得“產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量免檢證書”，2006年獲得“中國名牌”，2010年10月“露水河”牌刨花板被評為“中國馳名商標(biāo)”，2012年1月，亞洲品牌盛典組織委員會在北京釣魚臺召開了2011亞洲品牌年會暨表彰大會，“露水河牌刨花板”獲得“消費(fèi)者滿意十佳（行業(yè)）品牌”稱號。
     2011年6月，公司通過自主研發(fā)改進(jìn)生產(chǎn)工藝和設(shè)備，成功地研制出E0級刨花板，甲醛釋放量不大于5mg/100g，經(jīng)國家人造板質(zhì)量監(jiān)督中心檢測甲醛釋放量（穿孔值）為3.0mg/100g，基本接近木材本身的甲醛量，為國內(nèi)首創(chuàng)，目前露水河E0級刨花板已全面投放市場。
“霍爾茨”（居室門）是吉林森工股份公司北京門業(yè)分公司引進(jìn)德國Homag公司全套的門板專業(yè)生產(chǎn)線及先進(jìn)生產(chǎn)加工工藝，在國內(nèi)首家生產(chǎn)德式“T”型門的新睿品牌。“霍爾茨”牌歐式復(fù)合門在市場上也享有盛譽(yù)。
公司于1998年9月被吉林省政府批準(zhǔn)為高新技術(shù)企業(yè)，2005年被推薦為中國林產(chǎn)工業(yè)協(xié)會刨花板行業(yè)理事長單位。
公司注重企業(yè)信息化建設(shè)，2002年起開始在原料采購、生產(chǎn)管理、財務(wù)分析、庫存與銷售管理等方面應(yīng)用用友ERP管理軟件，實行遠(yuǎn)程調(diào)用、查詢財務(wù)狀況與產(chǎn)品庫存、銷售情況，并利用客戶關(guān)系管理系統(tǒng)（CRM），對客戶進(jìn)行分類管理，明顯提高了企業(yè)工作效率和管理水平。2003年開通了吉林森工股份公司電子商務(wù)網(wǎng)站，利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)平臺傳遞產(chǎn)品銷售訂單，加速了銷售信息傳遞；同時，建立了一支網(wǎng)上答疑的幕后團(tuán)隊，每日解答網(wǎng)上客戶提出的各種問題；處理產(chǎn)品簽訂、與投訴事件，提升了產(chǎn)品售后服務(wù)質(zhì)量和企業(yè)形象與知名度，為客戶網(wǎng)上交流與服務(wù)提供了便利渠道。2004年開通了中國林產(chǎn)工業(yè)協(xié)會刨花板專業(yè)委員會網(wǎng)站，面向全國同行業(yè)，溝通信息、交流經(jīng)驗、共同發(fā)展。目前推行企業(yè)內(nèi)部網(wǎng)與無紙化辦公系統(tǒng)，使企業(yè)信息化建設(shè)又上一個新臺階。
